Tyler Anthony is an emerging artist like no other of his time. Born in central New Jersey in 2005, he grew up in a humble home filled with love, laughter, and creativity. From an early age, Tyler was drawn to board games, creative writing, LEGOs, video games, and spending time with family and friends — all things that fed his imagination and sense of wonder. And through it all, music was never far away.

All throughout elementary school, he sang in his school choir and played both the cello and clarinet in the orchestra. But at just ten years old, life shifted when his parents separated, and a move to South Jersey marked a new chapter. Though music had always been a “fun” hobby, everything changed in sixth grade when he stumbled upon Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” From that moment, nothing would ever be the same.

What began as a simple fascination quickly grew into a full-blown passion. Inspired first by Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Nat King Cole, Tyler soon discovered a whole new world of sound — Billy Joel’s “Captain Jack” being the spark that forever reshaped his musical vision. From there came Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Randy Newman, Bill Withers, Queen, Electric Light Orchestra, Paul Simon — the list could go on forever. His dream of singing like Frank soon evolved into a deeper calling: to pour his soul into music and lyrics of his own.

In 2020, Tyler began formal voice and piano lessons. When the pandemic unexpectedly cut his eighth-grade year short, it became a blessing in disguise. With hours of newfound time, he devoted himself entirely to his craft. By 2021, he was singing at local Catholic churches just like his mother had her whole life, and by 2022, he was performing professionally across New Jersey. From Italian restaurants and steakhouses to bars and casinos, every stage became a place to grow.

That same year, Tyler began recording his first original music, hiring some of New Jersey’s top studio musicians and engineers to bring his vision to life. The result was “The Star” — his debut single and the first of many to come. In 2023, his hard work paid off when he was awarded a full-ride scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music.

Today, Tyler is hard at work building his name, finding new parts of himself in every song, and sharing the gifts that God continues to bless him with.
